Malaria Free World promotes "Fight Against Malaria" in Betul, India
Hemant Bankhede, one of our international Malaria Masters, has held several events raising ‪‎malaria awareness in endemic areas. As part of his latest "Fight against malaria" event, he presented to about 100 high-school students at the New Carmel Convent School in Multai, Betul, India (read more).

Founder and CEO invited as a Pro-Teen Choice Honoree at the FOX Teen Choice Awards 2015
Kritika Singh, founder and CEO of Malaria Free World, was selected as one of the nine honorees at the FOX Teen Choice Awards 2015. Kritika was onstage with Rachel Platten, who sang her "Fight Song".  Kritika promoted her fight against malaria on this live, internationally televised show (pictures and video).

Malaria Free World conducts India Tour 2015 
Malaria Free World conducted a very successful tour of schools, research institutions, and most importantly people impacted my malaria in various parts of Inida. Over the course of a week long trip, Kritika Singh educated over 2,300 students, faculty, under-privileged kids, and plant workers (tour web-page).

Malaria Free World organizes World Malaria Day event at TJHSST 
The Malaria Free World organized a maroon T-shirt day and raised money by selling commemorative T-shirts. Students and faculty supported the event by wearing maroon and joining us in supporting by taking a picture with a malaria banner and posting on their social media forums (pictures).

Meet the author event for the best-seller book "The Malaria Project" 
Best-selling author Ms. Karen Masterson share her experiences writing the book titled "The Malaria Project" focusing on US Government's involvement with malaria during the World War II timeframe. The interactive event was attended by over 100 students and faculty at TJHSST (pictures).

Malaria Free World presented malaria facts to their teachers and students at he Sidwell Friends School (pictures).

Malaria presentation at the Seneca Academy in Gaithersburg, MD 
Malaria Free World thanked Audrey Hanson and Pelin Altintas, for independently organizing and hosting an event at their elementary school. The fifth graders presented malaria facts to their teachers and students, and pledged their support to fight malaria by spreading more awareness (pictures).

Malaria Masters presentation at the Fields Road Elementary School in Gaithersburg, MD 
The Malaria Free World inducted Cansu Moral as a Malaria Master. The fifth grade student organized an interactive session with the entire 5th grade to learn and interact about malaria. Teachers and students pledged their support, and one student took the initiative to become as master later (pictures).

Malaria Free World participates actively at the STEMSymposium 2015
Malaria Free World hosted an information booth at the STEM Symposium 2015 hosted by the WashingtonExec Council.  Virginia Senator Tim Kaine stopped by and tagged founder and CEO as "Malaria Girl"! Students and parents learned facts about malaria and many students (pictures).

Malaria Masters presentation at the Diamond Elementary School in Gaithersburg, MD 
The Malaria Free World inducted their first malaria masters in Sriya and Shivani Sogal. The Sogal sisters organized an interactive session with over 75 elementary school students at their school. Teachers and students pledged their support for helping in our fight against malaria (more).

"Malaria Masters" program launched to seek everyone's help in fighting malaria
Malaria Free World launched the Malaria Masters program to seek everyone help and support in assisting in the global malaria eradication efforts to rid the world of the malaria epidemic. It welcomes supporters of all ages to become a malaria master and join the efforts to raise awareness and educate (view program details).

Malaria Free World hosts "Malaria Meltdown 2014" exposition
Malaria Free World held its kickoff event, the "Malaria Meltdown" exposition at the Nysmith School in Fairfax, VA.  Key malaria researchers and industry experts gave lectures on malaria to over 160 attendees. The event also featured scientific demonstrations and hand-on STEM activities for kids (full article).

Malaria Free World attended Challenges In Malaria Research (CIMR) conference at the Oxford University to learn about the latest development and challenges in malaria eradication and discuss her organization's goals, and took feedback from other pioneers in the field (more).
