Hemant Bankhede is a scientist at the Colorcon Asia Private Limited in Goa, India. He is actively involved in antimalarial drug research form Indian herbs. He became a malaria master in April 2015, and hosted several events around awareness, prevention, diagnosis and treatment of Malaria in India. His main interests are in drug discovery and formulation development against malaria.

Marwan Lloyd is an 11th grade student at the Sidwell Friends School in Washington, DC. Marwan works with the Malaria Free World team on various projects and in April 2015, he organized a very interactive presentation for students at the Sidwell Friends Elementary School, MD. Audrey Hanson and Pelin Altintas are 5th grade students at the Fields Road Elementary School in Gaithersburg, MD. Audrey lived in a malaria-impacted region during her childhood, and got excited after a Malaria Masters presentation at her school. In March 2015, she teamed up with her friend, Pelin, and held a fun and education presentation for students at the Seneca Academy in Gaithersburg, MD. Cansu Moral is a 5th grader at Fields Road Elementary School in Gaithersburg, MD. She arranged an interactive malaria-related session at her school in March 2015, where over 60 fifth grade students and teachers enjoyed the "Anopheles" story and facts around malaria from the Malaria Free World team. Shivani and Sriya Sogal met the qualifications to become Malaria Masters in January 2015. At that time, they were students at the Diamond Elementary School in Gaithersburg, MD.  Sriya and Shivani have a passion for participating in STEM-related activities and held a interactive session at their school with over 75 attendees.
