Malaria Free World is a non-profit organization with a mission to raise awareness about the malaria epidemic. Through STEM-H (science, technology, engineering, math, and health and medical sciences) focused events, Malaria Free World aims to raise funds to donate towards malaria research and eradication.

    Malaria Free World, a non-profit organization, is an active advocate for malaria research. Through hosting educational events and fundraisers, we aim to raise awareness for the malaria epidemic and foster scientific innovation for young aspiring researchers. By teaming up with global organizations like Harvard University's Defeating Malaria Initiative and United Nation's Nothing But Nets, we hope to save lives by providing help to millions of people suffering from, or at-risk of contacting malaria. You, too, can join hands in many ways to eradicate malaria -- get involved, donate, and promote research for this global epidemic. Together, we can end malaria. Worldwide!

    A "video report" for a class project in our course "DNA Science 1" at TJHSST. The video report, including a fun malaria rap, is based on our book report of the book "The Malaria Project". About Us

  • Malaria Free World is a non-profit organization aimed to raise awareness about the malaria epidemic and current malaria research efforts. As part of their initial goals, Malaria Free World has been hosting educational events and fundraisers. Its kickoff event “Malaria Meltdown” took place on November 1, 2014. The expo was extremely successful with over 160 attendees, hands-on STEM activities for attendees (e.g., playing with plasmodium, titration experiments, DNA extraction from bananas and strawberries), and guest lectures ranging from researchers from the Harvard Medical School and Johns Hopkins University, scientists from Sanaria Inc., and Acetylon Pharmaceuticals, and personal experiences from impacted individuals. Malaria Free World raised over $5,000 at the expo, mainly from donations but also some creative merchandize sales. They were also awarded $500 Good Samaritan award by local ABC TV channel as part of their Pay It Forward series. Malaria Free World has teamed up with global organizations like Harvard University’s Defeating Malaria Initiative and UN’s Nothing But Nets. Malaria Free World aims to save lives by partnering in global efforts to help people suffering from malaria, or at-risk of getting it. Malaria Free World is volunteer-based and invites anyone interested to join hands in many ways to eradicate malaria – getting involved to help in events, donating, and promote research for this epidemic. “Together, we can end malaria. Worldwide!” is not just Malaria Free World’s tagline; it is one that Kritika truly subscribes to and promotes publicly.
